Your arrow matters as much as your number. A falling arrow means your glucose will keep dropping once you start moving, so we cannot work out your risk without it.

Very low
Under 1 in 100
A low is very unlikely. Keep fast carbs with you and go.
Low
1 to 5 in 100
Unlikely. Check your glucose every 20 to 30 minutes.
Medium
5 to 20 in 100
There is a real chance. Have about 15 g of carbs first.
High
Over 20 in 100
Likely. Have about 20 g of carbs, or wait for your glucose to rise.

It works out your risk from three things: your glucose before you start, how long you will move, and which way your sensor arrow is pointing. Those three came out on top when the researchers looked at more than 16,000 real exercise sessions. This is the same model used in the EXTOD app.
A few things worth knowing. It was built from data on people aged 12 and over. It stops at 60 minutes because the model gets less reliable for longer sessions. And it tells you about going low during your session - you may still need to watch for a low in the hours afterwards.
